You must be in need of a photographer for a special occasion. Maybe you have a H.S.Senior that wants some awesome portraits, perhaps your family is due for a new wall portrait, maybe a reunion is coming up, a one year portrait of your child, or you have seen our work displayed somewhere and you just have an idea right now. The planning stages for that important portrait session are the key to its success. Here are some important issues to consider, once you secure your session with us.
1. No fresh haircuts. Wait one week for the style to blend and fill in.
Men should shave that day.
2. Proper clothing is imperative. For outdoors, solid colors that are medium to dark tones work the best, as do long sleeves.
3. For groups, in my opinion it is not essential that all clothing be exactly the same, however continuity is key. A slight mixture of some close colors along with a base of neutral colors is both appealing and believable.
4. Come prepared to have fun and participate in your families history. Be positive about the experience, not neutrally minded.
